Dr. Francisco Suarez
Dr. Francisco Suarez grew up in Glendale, CA and his path of lifelong learning as well as a life of community service was grounded early through his Jesuit education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. He graduated Cum Laude in high school and Cum Laude as a Bachelor of Science in the school of Biological Sciences from the University of California Irvine. With roots as an oral surgeon’s assistant first during his college summer breaks, he was driven to pursue higher education on a path toward oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCLA, where he earned his Doctorate (D.D.S.) degree. His love of learning lead him to pursue higher education and a completion of his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.
At the completion of his residency training, Dr. Suarez was invited to complete a post-doctorate fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and obtained further subspecialty training as a fellow in full scope orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders surgery, maxillofacial pathology, head and neck facial trauma and reconstruction, and teaching as a per diem attending physician providing access to care to the patients of Southern California in the Kaiser Permanente system. After his training, he has been in private practice and continues to maintain his dental and general anesthesia licenses in the state of California and Alaska along with certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced
Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
In person, Dr. Suarez has been known to have an easy-going, approachable demeanor with kindness, and a keen attention to detail. He dedicates his time to staying up-to-date in evidence based medicine, general anesthesia and IV sedation, and improving his surgical technique. He has clinical interests in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery including dentoalveolar surgery dental extractions, bone grafts, dental implantology and maxillofacial reconstruction, maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery, general anesthesia and IV sedation, medical management of the medically compromised patient, temporomandibular joint disorders, and most importantly, living a
life of service to his patients and standing as a patient advocate.
Dr. Suarez strives to ensure his patients feel safe, comfortable, and reassured. Those that have worked with him in the past applaud his patience, dedication to excellence, and he’s been known to be one of the easiest, most empathic surgeons to talk to.
On a personal note, Dr. Suarez spends his free time with his wife and three children whom he shares his love of outdoor recreation, most especially in rock climbing, hiking, camping, mountaineering, and exploring Alaska.
